Spinning on Silks - Cathy Gauch
Spinning on Silks - Cathy Gauch
Silks - Advanced beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Sunday 12p - 130p (TH)
Have you ever been watching a beautiful, flowy, lyrical silks act, and then, all of a sudden, out of the blue, there is a violent flurry of the artist attacking the silks to make themselves spin? And then they go back to being smooth & flowy. Honestly, it hurts my brain to see this jarring movement in the middle of an otherwise gorgeous silks act. With your help we can change the world!
Come & learn how to spin on the silks smoothly. We’ll practice on axis & off axis spinning in a variety of upright and upside down poses. How to move through poses while spinning and momentum moves that can get you spinning.
Pre-req’s: must be able to spin, climb, do hip key, footlocks & inversions in the air
