PARTNERING on TRAPEZE - INTERMEDIATE - ADVANCED
FRIDAY 230-4 TH
We will go over basic duo work on static trapeze and then work up to more advanced tricks and transitions, depending on the level of the workshop participants. Material will include basics like pop-ups to body lock, beats (height allowing), transitioning from catchers to seated to catchers for both base and flyer, simple to intermediate tricks in catchers and in seated positions. Emily Wegert is an aerial performer and coach from southern Colorado and the co-founder of the aerial performance group, Aerial Aura. Beginning with aerial straps, then moving on to silks, hoop, and trapeze, Emily discovered and cultivated her passion for performing and teaching aerial dance. She has trained in Montreal and performs regularly on silks, hoop, static trapeze, and straps. Emily is an instructor at Trampoline World and at Dragonfly Aerial Company in Colorado Springs, and AerialWorks Studio in Castle Rock, and has taught workshops and performed internationally as well.

OBSERVERS: Allowed for $10 fee
